Butterflies

Everyone has a wish
A dream to aspire,
Like the butterfly of ice
Or the butterfly of fire.

A sister of frost
A sister of flame,
So very different
And yet the same.

To become something
They could never be,
To love so careless
And so free.

A life without worry
A life without care,
A life without threat
Of wings to tear.

So with a wish
Upon a falling star,
No longer water
No longer char.

They turn to Monarchs
Just to fit in,
But sonn they realize
Their utmost sin.

Now with uniqueness
Nor distinguishing mark,
They sound realize,
Their reality is stark.

The two butterflies
Had made a foolish choice,
THey wanted to be like others
And now have no voice.

Be always prepared
For never forget,
Be careful for wishes
Might turn to regret.

So the lesson is
Always be true,
Don't be like others
And always be you.
